FOR TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE 2007

I’m Rolf Margenau and I am hoping to work for you as a member of the Tewksbury Township Committee next year.

Local politics may not be uppermost in your mind this balmy fall, but I’d like to remind you that the way our town is run has the most direct impact on your quality of life here in Tewksbury. Also, this year all our public officials above the municipal level are up for reelection. It is a really important time to make your voice heard.

As an independent Democrat I am not a member of the local establishment. I am running to reestablish balance and openness in township govenment, to represent all our townspeople (not the few favored by the current administration) and to provide value for the $10 million spent each year to operate our town.

In the Tewksbury Times you may have seen the letters about my background and specific proposals about needed changes in our Township. There is more detailed information at www.Rolf-for-Tewksbury.org. My candidacy has been endorsed and encouraged by Congressman Rush Holt and Assemblywoman Linda Stender.

If you are interested in fostering change in your home town, you owe it to yourself to consider the four candidates seeking to represent you and select the two who will do the best job. I hope you will consider me for one of your votes. And remember, if you don’t vote, you won’t have credibility to complain about how things are run here!

Kind regards,

Rolf

For this and other reasons, I became a candidate for our township committee. Allow me to share with you why I am running and what is important to me...
